This organization promotes mental wellness by providing free therapeutic and expressive art services, classes, and workshops to vulnerable adults and underserved communities facing mental health challenges or disabilities.
Founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on May 25, 2023, Artful Mind was created to address the lack of accessible, expressive and therapeutic art services for adults living with severe mental illness and disabilities. The organization was born from a clear gap in community mental health resources: individuals managing mental health such as anxiety, depression, trauma often face barriers to care rooted in low income, limited mobility, and social isolation. In 2026, Artful Mind expanded its reach to include seniors, children, and adolescents, extending these services across the lifespan.

Whether it's trying a new hobby, practicing a creative skill, or exploring a new interest, learning encourages curiosity and helps keep the mind active. Continued learning can support cognitive health, build confidence, and create a sense of accomplishment.
Learning isn't just for students. Children, adults, and older adults can all benefit from opportunities to learn, grow, and stay engaged through activities that encourage creativity, movement, and personal development.
Learning alongside others creates opportunities to meet new people, share experiences, and develop supportive relationships. Community classes and workshops can help foster a sense of belonging while making learning enjoyable and accessible. These shared experiences can help reduce feelings of isolation while making learning more enjoyable.
