About Them
About Them
In 1974, a group of Deaf and Hard of Hearing volunteers in San Diego came together to form the Central Deaf Association, a social network. Recognizing a critical, widespread gap in essential communication access and public health navigation, the group continued to expand their services, eventually becoming Deaf Community Services.
Deaf Community Services delivers culturally and linguistically specialized support across San Diego County, intentionally eliminating barriers for Deaf Individuals from all ages and walks of life.
